Privacy Policy

Mannered Pup provides personalized dog-training guidance, progress tools, and communication with a trainer through the Mannered Pup mobile app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information we handle

• Account information: name, email address, authentication status, and account role. Password authentication is handled by Supabase; Mannered Pup does not receive your plain-text password.
• Dog and training information: dog name, breed, life stage, size, energy, home environment, motivators, sensitivities, training concerns, plan selections, journal entries, severity ratings, and practice progress.
• Service information: consultation requests, appointment preferences, support messages, and account-deletion requests.
• Media you choose to provide: dog photos and training videos. Media may contain people, voices, homes, or other identifying details, so only upload files you have permission to share.

How information is used

We use information to create personalized training guidance, provide requested services, communicate with clients, review training progress, maintain account security, troubleshoot the app, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and the app does not contain third-party advertising.

Device and cloud storage

Some profile, journal, preference, and media information is stored locally on your device. Signed-in features can send selected information to Mannered Pup’s Supabase cloud project for account access, backup, consultations, appointments, messaging, and service delivery. Cloud records are protected by account-based access controls, row-level database rules, encrypted network connections, and private media buckets.

Service providers and external links

Supabase provides authentication, database, and file-storage infrastructure and processes information on our behalf. Training-resource links may open external services such as YouTube; those services apply their own privacy policies after you leave the Mannered Pup app.

Retention and deletion

We retain cloud information while your account is active and as needed to provide requested services. When you request account deletion, we will verify the request and delete the account and associated cloud profile, training, message, appointment, consultation, and stored-media data within 30 days, unless limited information must be retained to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. Data stored only on your phone must be removed by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.

Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Your choices

You may choose what optional profile details and media to provide. You can export supported local app data and request account deletion from the app’s Settings screen. You can also use the public Delete Account page.
